Oh prepare for the backlash of the century. GoldDerby snobs thought Johnson was actually Razzie-worthy. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya.
they think any performance given by anyone younger than 30 is razzie worthy so what’s new

lol which deluded said that? Michael Shannon was better and should have won that year though.
February 12, 2019 at 2:32 am #1202773130I will never forgive Tom Ford cutting his dick out from the movie.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s? Who caresss. If it was Jake, I would support you. Jake is one of my few male celeb crushes.

You forgot Rami.
February 12, 2019 at 9:54 am #1202773464Talking about Jake Gyllenhaal, Brokeback Mountain is still one of the most heartbreaking and fantastically acted movies. The sorrow, the pain, the moments, the freshness. Don’t get me started. Carol and Call Me By Your Name also make the cut.
‘I wish I knew how to quit you.’
February 12, 2019 at 12:02 pm #1202773684Darlings, the thing with Aaron Taylor-Johnson was a little bit like this Regina from Beale Street, he was snubbed in other awards and additionally, he wasn’t the critical darling unlike the black woman.
I think Taylor-Johnson offered sex to the GG voters. So, I would’ve voted a thousand times for him without a doubt, too.
February 12, 2019 at 12:25 pm #1202773726In a year Cuaron was making an epic like Roma and Yorgos was making an slick masterpiece like The Favourite,Bradley Cooper had no business campaigning for Best Director and Best Picture.ASIB was good but was nowhere near these 2 movies in these 2 departments. If he solely focused on Best Actor he might have won it.He’s still the most deserving winner out of these 5 nominated men.

The sad part for me is that I began to really appreciate Cooper’s performance kinda late, when this race was basically done already. Damn you, Cooper!
February 12, 2019 at 1:32 pm #1202773801Have y’all really seen Green Book? It’s good to talk about Cooper and all that, but you’re really overlooking Viggo.
I’ve seen both movies and I can tell that Viggo Mortensen did equal,if not a better job than all the top 3 (Cooper, Malek, Bale).
The fact that no one mentions him just proves that this is all about preferences. His performance is really good.
That’s the problem with the media. They hype certain contenders that we all believe they’re right, and start overlooking the others with less public attention.

My dear, I agree with you on all counts indeed. Regina King was nominated for Oscar and won Golden Globe simply because she is black.
